Pay-per-lead fees — the only SK/CZ platform without them
A crowded, broken category
Slovakia's tradesman-marketplace category was crowded but broken. Customers posted vague, free-text demands. Contractors paid per-lead credits just to react — often to a request that didn't have enough information to quote properly. Quotes themselves came back as one-line numbers in a chat thread, impossible to compare. Nobody knew who won the job, and nothing was documented.
Inblok came to us with a clear thesis: the category needs transparency — in the demand, in the offer, in the decision, and in the pricing. They didn't want another portal. They wanted the platform that fixes it.
They also didn't want a dev shop. They needed a partner who could take it from sketch to a production product Slovak homeowners would trust. Fast.
End-to-end ownership in vertical slices
We took end-to-end ownership: discovery, UX, design, full-stack engineering, payments, CMS, deployment and post-launch iteration.
We shipped in vertical slices, so every two weeks the founder could click through a complete user journey behind a flag — not a Figma frame. Sentry, structured logging, automated migrations and type-safe GraphQL contracts were wired up before the first feature ticket. Storyblok went in early so marketing could edit without deploys, and SEO landing pages were part of the architecture from day one, not bolted on later.
Five things competitors don't have
A specialised intake form for every service — 63 of them. By the time a contractor sees a demand, they already know the m², the apartment layout, the deadline and the photos. They quote on the first try, with no reply-chain to extract basics.
Itemised, invoice-style offers. Contractors don't paste a price into a chat — they build an offer the way they'd build an invoice, with line-items, unit prices, payment and delivery terms, attachments and reusable templates. Every offer renders as a clean PDF, and customers can compare side by side, apples to apples.
A feedback-and-iterate loop on every offer. A real winner-selection event that notifies everyone and locks the result. And — the commercial differentiator — flat-fee Stripe subscriptions instead of pay-per-lead credits. Every Slovak and Czech competitor charges per lead. Zadaj dopyt is the only one where contractors pay a flat subscription and get full access to every demand and feature.

A stack tuned for speed and SEO
Next.js 14 + TypeScript on the web for SSR-friendly SEO landing pages and fast iteration. GraphQL Yoga + Prisma + PostgreSQL for type-safe contracts and easy schema evolution. Stripe for subscriptions and invoicing. Storyblok so marketing can edit without deploys. Firebase, AWS S3, Sentry and Pino for battle-tested, low-overhead infrastructure.
next-i18next is wired in for SK / EN today and ready for regional expansion. Expo / EAS scaffolding means the same GraphQL API can power native iOS and Android apps when the time comes.
